YOGA CLASSES

Explore the many wonderful benefits through the practice of yoga. Leave all your worries and tensions at the door and step into the relaxed atmosphere of our yoga center. We will guide you into the practice of yoga. Discover the mental clarity, physical alignment, and internal balance that yoga has to offer.

You’ve heard so much about yoga, you know it’s supposed to be great for you by making you fit, flexible, focused and stress free. But, if you don’t know where to begin, let us help you. Begin with our basic Yoga Introduction Classes where you will learn basic poses and work on the foundation of a good yoga practice. And, chances are, you’ll meeta new set of yoga-friends along the way!

Whether you are new to yoga or have been practicing for many years, you will find a wide variety of classes to keep you feeling great.

If you've never tried yoga before, have any concerns about yoga, have Special Medical Considerations, have replaced knees or hips, have Soreness or Pain in your back and hips or any other thoughts you'd like to address, give us a call - Come by and discuss them with us.You'll be surprised and delighted by how much benefit you will feel with a few stretching and breathing exercises. And we welcome the opportunity to work with you on a personal basis.

What is Yoga

Yoga Class Descriptions

Yoga classes are divided into 3 sections on the new printable schedules. They are Level 1-2, Level 2 and Level 2-3. We also offer a wonderful and fun Chair Yoga class. Printable Yoga Poses

Practicing stretches and poses at home is a great way to add to your yoga experience. It allows you time to hold your poses a little longer and to work on those poses which are most beneficial to you. I know many would like to practice some of the exercises and poses at home and even share them with friends and family. It's hard sometimes to remember the poses we do in class, so I have opened this section that will contain downloadable and printable sheets showing many of the poses and stretches we do in class. I hope you enjoy them and find a little time in your day to do them.

Other Considerations

Shoes, handbags and gym bags can be brought into the Classroom and placed along the walls.

It's not a good idea to eat two hours before yoga practice. Leaning forward and stretching can sometimes make you uncomfortable with a full stomach.

Please do not wear fragrances, perfumes, scented oils or fragrant lotions to class. Many students have allergies and sensitivities to the fragrances.

Yoga Videos for Home Practice are Ready!

Now you can practice at home in between classes or when you are away on vacation. Just grab a DVD and enjoy your yoga practice. All these videos are created by me and my sincere hope is that you will be able to practice with a familiar voice and familiar routines. The videos are available at:

Three videos are available at this time for $16.00 (including tax) each. Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3. I have plans to do a Chair Yoga Video and also more Volumes of the Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 videos. Each video contains a one hour class as well as a BONUS 15 minute class.

What to Wear - to Bring

Wear comfortable clothing, something you can stretch in.

If you have your own yoga mat, bring it. If not, we have yoga mats available to borrow and we also have them available for purchase. Read more
